the SUPERBABIES: INTRODUCTION
WELCOME to the home of the Superbabies!
We hope you enjoy your visit and that you stay long enough to find out a bit more about the ground-breaking new Super-powered team that has recently hit the shelves.
If you take a look around the website or visit our Instagram and/or Facebook
pages you’ll get a good feel for what to expect from the book. That said here is a very brief intro to the Superbabies series and an explanation of what we aim to achieve with your support….
The concept for the Superbabies story was initially centred around a team of babies each with real-life difficulties such as a disability, genetic condition or injury which they would each overcome to become the World’s greatest (and smallest) superheroes.
As the story evolved this initial concept was eventually side-lined due to it being impractical to work into the story in such a short space, but it essentially remains at the core of the story and what it means to be part of The Superbabies.
In addition to this core idea the story aims to deliver, as all great classic kids’ stories do, a positive message through the overarching theme of charity (hint, that’s how the Superbabies get their powers to start with) as well as examples of kindness and helping others.
The plan was also to create a fun-filled, action-packed, adventure story that, in addition to the main story, provided visual cues in the background for Mums and Dads to discuss with and educate their child/children e.g. take a look at the image below which has the International Space Station and Hubble Telescope in the background. There are also pages that depict the planets in our Solar system and so on. Basically, you get to choose if you want to talk about it or not but either way we hope that these elements will add something interesting for you to look at whilst you read.
But don’t worry it’s not all about educating and positive messages!….
….Science fiction, Fantasy, Mythology, Cartoons, the Movies, Children’s Books, Comic Books, Fairy Tales, you name it, all of these have in some way, shape or form inspired or influenced the creation of the Superbabies characters. So when you pick up a Superbabies book you can expect to find elements from all of these art forms embedded in the story and the artwork.
Essentially the first book is a Classical Fantasy, Fairy Tale inspired, Super-Powered, Superhero and Sci-Fi adventure! What could be better than that?
And without giving away too much too soon the book is a wee bit longer than your average children’s book (the story itself is approx. 36 pages) however there is a twist half way through so, not only do we hope this will make it even more interesting for the kids (and importantly the parents) but the idea is to also give you the option to read it in one go or in two sittings.

If this is your first time visiting The Superbabies website then welcome!
Iconic Earth Studios is a “Indie” (independent) studio that is just starting out and, whilst we are small, like our Superbabies, we certainly have some big ideas.
Now that the first book is complete we hope that it will get into as many hands (big and small) as possible. Parents and fans of pop culture should enjoy the various Easter-eggs planted throughout the story, whilst youngsters can simply enjoy the thrill of a new generation of characters and stories that they can call their own.
As mentioned above, there is a FREE e-book download available (just click on the button at the top of the Homepage to go to the page where you can get the download).

Importantly, The Superbabies’ story will be expanded further in an ongoing comic book series with storylines aimed at all ages (think something along the lines of the Simpsons, albeit probably nowhere near as funny!).
Our primary goal is to grow the Superbabies brand to a reasonable scale and achieve commercial success. At the same time, we intend to support good causes along the way by raising awareness and through donation of a % of the profit made from the Superbabies book.
Essentially we want the Superbabies to be Superheroes in the real world as well as on paper.
